چکیده
The quantum world is allegedly strange. But it? What if there’s a simple mathematical explanation, and solution? success of mechanics (QM) arises from the accuracy its probability predictions, which are obtained by squaring amplitudes (the Born rule). Suppose for moment that nature uses negative QM’s equations. When squared they would yield same probabilities, confirmed experiments technological triumphs. If were true, equations, then become transparent, easy to understand. No more Schrödinger’s-cat. quantum-eraser. backwards-in-time cause-and-effect. paradoxes nor enigmas. But, what’s equation? It could mean particles follow zero-energy waves backwards, instead forwards. That’s still an eccentric idea, residual strangeness. Overall, it’s bargain. We swap one odd idea another, because wave-particle duality odd. accustomed duality. we’ll show support other arrangement: backwards. How possibly be true? present substantial experimental evidence, new mathematics, six dozen colorful illustrations. This Theory Elementary Waves (TEW).
